OCTOBER 2010 - Ryan's 8th Birthday
Ryan had a great start to his birthday! He woke up to enjoy opening his gifts from everyone! He was very surprised to get a new TV for his room. We had Direct TV install his outlet a few days later! He loves falling asleep watching TV! He enjoyed his Birthday Cupcake for Breakfast on the 28th, since he had football practice that night! His football team was still in the playoffs that week!
OCTOBER 2010 - Ryan's Birthday with Grandma and Grandpa
Ryan celebrated his birthday early with Grandma and Grandpa Orwat! Grandma found the Giant Cupcake Maker at the Outlet Mall so we both made Ryan's cake together! He wanted chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and chocolate frosting! YUM! YUM!
OCTOBER 2010 - Grandma and Grandpa Orwat's Visit
Grandma and Grandpa Orwat came out for a visit in October! We kept them busy between football games and practices, watching the Dayton Gems a couple of times and of course taking Ryan to Youngs! This is one of their favorite things to do! Ryan and his grandparents went through the corn maze, which was one of the things Ryan wanted to do this fall! We also appreciate Grandpa working on Stella's electric fence and getting that working for us! It has been so nice letting her explore without a leash...except when she starts digging! Grandma decorated our front porch for Halloween! It was great...so many people commented on how cool our porch looked! Thank you for visiting!
SEPTEMBER 2010 - Butterflies
Ryan helped me release butterflies from my school project! Year-after-year, he loves releasing the butterflies...he is so gentle with them!
SEPTEMBER 2010 - The Football Hall of Fame Continued...
We had a great time visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame! Ryan's favorite part was playing on the field outside the museum with Dad! It was such a great mini-vacation!
SEPTEMBER 2010 - Our Trip to The Football Hall of Fame
On our way to Canton, Ohio to visit the Football Hall of Fame, we stopped in Columbus to eat
at the Thurman Cafe. Man vs. Food at this cafe. He had the Thurmantor...Ryan could barely get his mouth around a regular hamburger! There was a line before they opened at 11:30! It was a cool place to eat!
As we walked through the history of football, Ryan asked why this guy was wearing a cup on his nose! We thought that was hilarious!
Three great quarterbacks...present and future!

August 2010 - Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder's Visit
Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit in the middle of August! It was a fun time! We stayed busy with Ryan's first football game of the season, Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival (enjoying some delicious sweet corn in the rain:) and of course, a trip to Young's for dinner and miniature golf! Thank you so much for visiting! We had a great time!

Camping at home
We had the best intentions of going camping this summer, but it just didn't work out. With the star
t of football practice and Mom working on her Master's Degree, we just ran out of time! We did spend the night camping at our house - complete with cooking hot dogs over the open fire, smores and all three of us sleeping in the tent (in our basement)! We did have some different ways to pass the time - like playing the Playstation! :) Next summer, we're planning a camping trip early in the summer before all the craziness happens! Ryan did enjoy the tent in the basement - we kept it up for about 3 weeks!
