Ryan's Thoughts on Naming Children...

Ryan was sitting in California, relaxing. He started thinking of how people are named and came up with his plan on naming his children. He is going to wait to see the name of the girl he is going to marry and then combine his name with her name to come up with a unique name for his children.

Last Stop - Grandma and Grandpa Schroeders

Our last stop on our week-long California visit was to Grandma and Grandpa Schroeders. Ryan had a great time playing with his cousins, Jenna and Jason. Ryan lived in the pool! Ryan had a great time playing pool as well, Jeremy is still winning but probably not for long, I am sure. Ryan also loved driving a remote controlled boat in the pool! Ryan loves to be around water - whether it is at the beach or in a pool! We had a great time in California - thanks to all our family for spending time with us!

Our Next Stop - Grandma and Grandpa Orwats

Ryan had a great time relaxing with his Grandparents! Ryan played outside, went miniature golfing and of course, ate ice cream with Grandma! Watch out, Ryan, Grandma is getting your ice cream!!

Fun at the Beach

On Thursday, June 17th, we went to the beach near Channel Islands! It was a great beach! The beach wasn't crowded at all and the dogs had a fun chasing sticks into the ocean! Ryan loved throwing the sticks and then eventually splashing around in the ocean! We then enjoyed a snack at a beach-front bar. It was so relaxing! It was hard to leave! Thanks for taking us - Uncle Robert and Grandma and Grandpa Orwat!

Ryan Loves the Dogs!

Ryan always loves visiting Aunt Malia and Uncle Robert! He has a good time playing with the dogs and walking the dogs...or just snuggling with them!

Our Trip to California

We started our week long visit to California by having lunch at the Rainforest Cafe with Grandma and Grandpa Orwat, Uncle Mike, Aunt Debbie, Aaron and Jason. Ryan had fun swimming with his cousins!

Fishing on Sunday

We had a nice night fishing at Bass Lake at Wright Patterson AFB! It was a beautiful day! Ryan caught his first bass on a Spinning Rod! He is hooked! He ended up catching 3 fish and hooking at least 3 more! It was so fun watching Ryan enjoy fishing as much as his Dad!

An Official 2nd Grader

Ryan had his 2nd Annual End of School Party! Alex, Josh and Nick all played Eager Beaver Football and the 4 boys enjoyed a football game in the backyard before the rain came in. They ate pizza, wings, and smores! They played in the basement, played football and basketball in the backyard! We made geysers in the backyard with soda and Mentos. Diet Coke was by far the biggest mess! :)
