March 29, 2012 - Golfing at Rollandia's

 

 

The three of us went golfing at Rollandia's today.  We love the par 3 course...otherwise we would be there all day waiting for Mom to finish golfing!  This was my first time being on the golf course in about 10 years!  Ryan and I are looking forward to taking lessons and getting better!  Ryan loves it!  He wanted to golf another 18 holes!  Jeremy was very patient waiting for us to get to the greens!

March 26, 2012 - Geocaching at the Rock Quarry

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We spent a few hours walking around the Rock Quarry about two miles from our house.  We found two geocaches and had a blast walking all around!  Stella had a great time running up and down the rocks!  She came home and instantly fell asleep in the sun!  Ryan had control of the GPS and lead us to the treasures!  It was a great way to spend the morning!!

March 2012 - Spending time together

 

We went out to a nice dinner at McCormick & Schmick's on Friday!  Ryan ordered the King Crab!  He almost ate the whole thing!  It was great to spend time together...enjoying a nice dinner! 
This is our street in the Spring!  We absolutely love it!  It's one of our favorite parts of Spring!

March 2012 - A Gift for Jeremy!

 

So Ryan and I decided to buy this Molson goalie mask after Jeremy saw this in a restaurant near the Columbus Blue Jackets Arena.  Of course, we can't wait to give a present or keep a secret - so we gave it to him early!  Ryan and Jeremy found the perfect spot in the basement for it!

Here are a few more pictures Jeremy took at his training in Texas!  The picture of the Humvees is taken from Jeremy's Humvee as he is the gunner!  I loved that he took a picture of the sunset!  We are so proud of him!!

March 2012 - Jeremy's Deployment Training in Texas

 

 

 

 

Jeremy spent ten days in training for his upcoming deployment.  He was living in a tent in Texas, going through various drills and scenarios.  He ended up getting a war wound on his arm...luckily he was wearing a bullet-proof vest for the shots to the chest!  The last picture is his way of relaxing on his way home!  We are picking him up in about five hours and can't wait to see him!!

March 2012 - Good Times

 

 

We have enjoyed a very warm March and so we took advantage of the nice weather!  Ryan and Stella enjoyed being outside...playing hockey!  We bought Jeremy a gift for the basement!  We were so excited - we couldn't wait to give it to him so we sent him a picture!  Ryan's Godmother, Edee, sent us a picture of the snow and snowman they had...so we had to take a picture of the buds on the trees and the nice weather!  The buds, by the end of the week, turned into full blown white blooms!  Our street looks beautiful!

March 8, 2012 - Columbus Blue Jackets Game

 

The three of us with our friend, Joel, went to a Blue Jackets Game in Columbus.  We had a great time!  Ryan got a new jersey and also a puck for Derek Dorsett.  Good times!

February 2012 - Good Times

 

 

 

 

We had some good times spending time together in February!  Jeremy is wearing his uniform that he will wear during his deployment to Afghanistan.  Jeremy is always so good at taking Stella out and running with her!  We all enjoy spending time together and relaxing at home!  We are blessed!

February 25th - End of Year Tournament

 

 

 

 

 

The End of Year Tournament is held at Miami University's Goggin Ice Complex.  This was the second round...they lost at South Metro the night before.  Unfortunately the season ended with this game.  Ryan grew tremendously as a player...figuring out which positions he likes (forward, specifically right wing) and positions he rather not play (defense).  We are very proud of his hard work, determination and attitude!  We love you, Ryan!
