Game #3

Ryan's team finished the weekend with a win!  They beat the Armstrong Arrows 4-1.  Ryan scored!  Headed back home...I have enjoyed spending time in Pennyslvania. It is a beautiful state!

 

Love it!

I love the beauty of nature!!  This is the Allegheny River.  Jeremy said this merges with another river to make the Ohio River!  I love God's creations!

 

Game #2

Ryan's second game in Pittsburgh was against the Armstrong Arrows.  They were very excited to have us come up and play.  

 

Ryan had a goal in this game!  Way to go, Ryan!  They won 8-1!

Game #1

Ryan's team played against the Allegheny Badgers on Saturday morning.  Ryan's team won 9-1.  The only picture I got was a blurry picture from warm ups.  Ryan played well!  He got a couple of assists.  We really enjoyed watching his game!

 

I was not hockey ready...

 

It's hard to prep for an ice rink when the temperatures are in the 80's.  I didn't bring my hand warmers either!!  I was lucky that I put a blanket in the car for Ryan to use!  Need to get back in hockey mode!

On Th Road

This weekend starts a five weekend's of out of town games.  This weekend we are headed to Pittsburgh for three games.

Ryan's Weekend of First...

This weekend was Ryan's first hockey games as an Ashburn Xtreme and his first hockey games since he was injured in January with an A/C joint separation.  

Ryan's team, Bantam AA, won both games!  Saturday they won 8-4 and Sunday they won 4-2. Ryan's Uncle Robert was there on Sunday to cheer his nephew on!  Uncle Robert loved Ryan's check into the boards!  Ryan scored as well in Sunday's game!  That was awesome to see!  Ryan is extremely happy playing for Ashburn!

Ryan's First Ohio State Game

Day 2 of the Guy's Weekend was going to an Ohio State Football Game!  This was Ryan's first Ohio State Football Game.  They ended up leaving a little bit early due to the heavy rain, but they sure had a great time!  Walking around before the game, Ryan saw how fraternities party at 10am!  Oh my!! 😂

 

 

Team USA vs Team Canada

Jeremy and Ryan went to Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Friday, September 9th.  We bought the tickets back in April.  They were front row, right next to the penalty box.  Before the game, they ate very well!

 

 

Both of them had a great time at the game and enjoyed spending that special time together!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great weekend!  We didn't have to go some place special...we didn't eat out...we enjoyed being at home with each other!   We fried foods for the first time...thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Orwat for our new pan!

 

We started the weekend with steak, fresh corn from the Farmer's Market and homemade fries.  

 

Then later in the weekend, Jeremy tried wings and they were DELICIOUS!!  We ended up making them twice!!  This will be our new Sunday Football Tradition (when we are home to watch the games:).

Ryan went to the hockey store to buy his referee clothes, we watched Now You See Me 2, and Ryan hung out with his friends at the pool.  

It was a great weekend!  Tomorrow starts Ryan's official second year of Bantam hockey.  We can't wait!
