YEAH!!!

Ryan participated in the Library Reading Program. He had to read 18 hours throughout the summer. He read to us every day and we read to him! It has been great spending time with Ryan reading and learning about different topics! His favorite books right now are animal books with real pictures. We have read about many different animals from sharks to deer to insects to snakes. You name it, we have read it!

Ryan took Grandma and Grandpa's camera and walked around the Great Wolf Lodge taking pictures! He did a great job!

Some More Grandparent Fun...

These are pictures that were on Grandma and Grandpa's camera! Ryan was busy but had so much fun!!

Grandpa Orwat took Ryan to Rollandia's Magic Castle! They played games inside and also went miniature golfing - one of Ryan's favorite activities!

Grandpa and Jeremy took Ryan fishing at our pond...another highlight for Ryan!!

The last pictures are from Great Wolf Lodge! Yet, another of Ryan's favorite places! He had a great time going and doing all his favorite things with his grandparents!!

Our Tree Swing

We continue to find ways to enjoy the summer. We had ropes hanging in our beautiful tree in our backyard. Eileen gave us an extra swing seat to complete our tree swing! Ryan and his friends enjoy playing and twisting around and around!

Ryan has started Eager Beaver Football. They are doing conditioning the first week. This wears out the kids! They have so many 1st/2nd graders that they have 3 teams. We'll find out what team he is on by the end of the week.

Grandma and Grandpa Orwat's Visit

We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Orwat for a visit! We had a great time with them! We kept them busy - visiting Jungle Jim's, shopping, walking through the Air Force Museum, and going to Youngs.

They took Ryan to the Great Wolf Lodge for a fun-filled night! They played video games and Ryan's favorite - spending hours at the water park! Grandma even slept on the bottom bunk in Ryan's little cabin.

Summer Fun Cont.

Ryan has enjoyed fishing at the pond...on a good day - he'll catch up to 20 bluegill. Ryan has figured out that he doesn't need to cast his line far...he just drops it in the water at the shore and a bluegill will eat his worm!













Ryan is learning to grill too! Maybe someday he'll make us dinner!! :)
Ryan has had alot of fun playing with his different friends - Kelly, Josiah, Connor, Caden, Reed, and Zach.

Ryan has been having a fun summer...some of the things he has been doing this past month include - seeing the Turtle Lady at the library...
