A Walk Through the Wetlands

These are the Wetlands by our house. We went out on Saturday, enjoying the nice weather and looking for deer antlers that have fallen off the deer.
Ryan's picture of Mom! He loves taking pictures
This is the bridge that we built when we found the only way out would be to cross the water! It was fun! We felt like Surviorman...ok not really, but it was still fun!
Ryan loved banging the stick against the barrel! He thought that was the coolest thing!!

Art Show at Ryan's School

Ryan's school had an art show. He had three different projects he did from Art Class. His art teacher, Mrs. Cooper, had nothing but nice things to say about Ryan. She said he is always eager to learn a new technique. Ryan's friend, Josiah, came with us!

Ryan's Book Box for School

Ryan was given an assignment on Friday to turn a cereal box into a personalized book box for school. We started with a Rice Krispies box. Ryan wanted to paint the box white. Then he put on all the decorations where he wanted them and made a great looking box! He is so very proud! His comment was "You can tell I like Ohio State!"

More Fun in February!

We had an extended President's Day weekend with another snow day! It was nice to have 5 days off - a mini Winter Break! Ryan had fun with Caden and Connor! They even earned money shoveling our back deck!
Ryan had fun bowling with the Gems Hockey Team! He bowled with Matt Auffrey and Mike Olynyk. He also bowled with one of the goalies, that happened to stop bowling after Ryan beat him in a game! Hmmm... (Sorry for the blurry pictures but Ryan liked them anyway!) We are looking forward to the coming of Spring and warmer weather!

Ryan Skating with the Gems!

On Sunday's after the Dayton Gems games, fans are allowed to go on the ice and skate with the team! Ryan enjoys going up to the players and talking to them!
We are doing a scrapbook for one of the Gems players as members of the Gems Booster Club. The first player we were doing left for another league. This is Cory Couturier with Ryan. We are doing his scrapbook now. We are hoping he stays with the team!
